Halloween Food Guide: What to Eat This Fall at Disneyland

Halloween Time at Disneyland runs a full seasonal menu across both parks, hotels, and Downtown Disney, and Disney has now confirmed the complete 2026 lineup, more than 150 items in total. Most park food started August 18, with hotel and Downtown Disney items following August 21. Here’s where to eat, in order of what’s actually worth the calories.

These four returning favorites anchor the season and are worth building a day around.

Alien Pizza Planet: Heatwave Pizza Slice

Spiced blush sauce, mozzarella and pepper jack, Italian sausage, both classic and crispy cupped pepperoni, smoked bratwurst, and sliced red Fresno chiles, finished with basil and a hot honey drizzle. This is the closest thing Halloween Time has to a meat-lover’s centerpiece dish. If you like heat but not overwhelming heat, this lands in a good middle spot, spicy enough to notice, not so hot it drowns out the toppings.

Cozy Cone Motel 3, Chili Cone Queso: Slow Burnin’ Mac and Cheese Cone

Fresh-cooked pasta tossed in a spicy red pepper cheese sauce, served in the signature bread cone. A Cars Land staple that’s become one of the more requested seasonal snacks specifically because of the cone format. Easy to eat while walking.

Smokejumpers Grill: Oogie Boogie Lemonade

Minute Maid Lemonade with green apple syrup, cherry-flavored popping boba, and a raspberry sauce drizzle. This is the photogenic drink of the season and your best hero shot if you’re building visual content.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe: Caramel Apple Cheesecake

Caramel cheesecake with a caramelized apple filling, topped with caramel drip, orange white chocolate mousse, and chocolate flakes. Jolly Holiday’s dessert case consistently ranks as one of the strongest dessert stops in the park, Halloween included. This is the easy answer if someone asks “what’s the one dessert I shouldn’t skip.”

More standouts worth seeking out

BooGogi Beef Toasted with Corn Cheese Soup, Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe. Marinated beef, grilled onion, mozzarella, pickled radish, and kimchi aïoli on sourdough, served with corn cheese soup. A returning favorite that brings Korean flavors to Main Street, and one of the more inventive savory options anywhere in the park.

Villainous Wings, Smokejumpers Grill. Tossed in sweet and tangy gochujang sauce, drizzled with ghost pepper ranch, topped with chives. A standout new savory pick if you’re doing DCA.

Ube Cheesecake Churro, Terran Treats (Avengers Campus). Churro rolled in chocolate cookie sugar with ube cheesecake whipped topping and chocolate cookie crumble. Part of a broader ube trend running through this year’s menu, also showing up in soft serve, lattes, and flan at Cars Land and San Fransokyo Square.

Rest in Chocolate, Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor. Chocolate ice cream in a chocolate-covered waffle cup, topped with chocolate cookie crumbles, gummy worms, and a chocolate tombstone. A strong photo-first pick on Main Street.

Villainous Red Velvet Cake, Plaza Inn. Red velvet with raspberry jam, chocolate chips, and black ganache frosting.

Apple Pie Sundae, The Golden Horseshoe. A slice of apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, cinnamon streusel, whipped cream, and a cherry. New this year and already getting called out as one of the better new desserts.

Anti Vampire Pizza, Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta (Paradise Gardens Park). Roasted garlic-marinated chicken, creamy garlic sauce, mozzarella, bacon, tomato harissa drizzle, and green onions. Available by the slice or whole pie.

Pumpkin Cookies, Harbour Galley. Fresh-baked, sold in packs of six or 13 while supplies last. A simple, low-commitment pick if a full dessert feels like too much.

Grizzly Pumpkin Cold Brew Latte, Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree. Joffrey’s French Roast Cold Brew with whipped cream and pumpkin spice, topped with a pumpkin candy.

Steak Frites, Lamplight Lounge. New York steak, Manchego truffle fries, and peppercorn sauce. If you’re doing a sit-down Halloween Time meal at Pixar Pier, this is the strongest savory option on the seasonal menu.

For 21-and-up guests, the season also brings a wave of new cocktails worth knowing about: the Halloween Cocktail at Lamplight Lounge (bourbon, cinnamon whiskey, lemon, amaretto, apple juice), the Strawberry Matcha Rum Cocktail at Pym Test Kitchen, and new menus at Trader Sam’s, the Disneyland Hotel’s Broken Spell Lounge, and Downtown Disney’s Vista Parkside Market.

Oogie Boogie Bash Exclusives

A few items are only available to guests with a ticket to Oogie Boogie Bash, Disneyland’s separately ticketed Halloween party, running select nights August 18 through October 31. The standout is the Haunted Highway Cocktail at Cozy Cone 4, Frozen Cone-Coctions. If party exclusivity is a priority for your visit, factor that into whether a party ticket is worth it on top of regular admission.

Character dining: Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween

At the Disneyland Hotel, Goofy’s Kitchen runs its Halloween-costumed version of the popular character breakfast and dinner experience from August 21 through October 31, with an enhanced buffet menu for both meals, Disney PhotoPass digital downloads included, and a limited-time Halloween button as a keepsake. New seasonal cocktails for the adults in your party include a Chocolate Espresso Martini and a Spicy Pineapple Margarita. Reservations book quickly once the calendar opens, so set a reminder rather than waiting until you’re already at the resort.

Plaza de la Familia: the Día de los Muertos menu

Running August 21 through November 2 at Disney California Adventure, Plaza de la Familia has its own dedicated food offering built around Mexican cuisine, separate from the rest of Halloween Time. If you’re doing a full Halloween Time food crawl, treat this as its own stop rather than an afterthought. Disney has confirmed the full food and beverage lineup here as well, with a distinct flavor profile from anything else in the seasonal menu.

How to actually plan a food-focused day

A few practical notes if you’re building an itinerary around eating your way through the season:

Split your park days. Alien Pizza Planet and Cozy Cone Motel are both in DCA, while Jolly Holiday, Plaza Inn, and Gibson Girl are all in Disneyland Park. If you’re hopping between parks anyway, group your food stops by park to avoid unnecessary backtracking.

Mobile order where you can. Most quick-service Halloween Time items support mobile ordering through the Disneyland app, which matters most during peak crowds when lines stretch long.

Save Plaza de la Familia for a dedicated visit, not a rushed stop. The Paradise Garden Grill seasonal menu pairs with live entertainment, mariachi music at the Bandstand and “The Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia Celebrate the Musical World of Coco!,” so budget time to actually sit with the experience rather than grabbing food and moving on.

Don’t skip the hotels. Goofy’s Kitchen, the new Broken Spell Lounge cocktail menu at the Disneyland Hotel, and the seasonal treats at Disney’s Grand Californian are easy to overlook if you’re not staying on property, but they’re worth a walk-through even as a day guest.

Watch item end dates. Not everything runs through October 31. Some items, like several of the churro and pretzel dips, actually run through January 6, 2027, tied into the holiday season transition, while others (Mickey-shaped Ghost Cookie, Oogie Boogie Cookie) are Halloween-only and end October 31. Check the specific item if you’re planning around it.

Halloween Time food at Disneyland isn’t just a side attraction to the decor and rides, it’s a real part of the seasonal identity at this point. Build a couple of these stops into your day and you’ll get a much fuller sense of what the season is actually about.
