Tomorrowland is where the thrill-seekers in your group should be heading off rope drop, not Fantasyland. It’s got some of the longest-standing wait times at Disneyland Park by mid-morning, which makes your first 30 minutes here worth more than almost anywhere else.
Space Mountain Comes First
Space Mountain is the land’s headliner and one of the fastest-selling attractions on Lightning Lane Multi Pass. If it’s a priority, head straight there off rope drop rather than detouring through anything else first. It’s also one of the resort’s Single Rider attractions, worth knowing if your group is willing to split up for a shorter wait.
There’s an interactive queue element here too, part of the free Play Disney Parks app: find codes hidden in the queue to “upgrade” a group-built ship, then compare it to other guests’ ships near the boarding area. It only unlocks in the standby line, so guests using Lightning Lane miss it.
The Rest of the Land
Once Space Mountain is handled:
- Star Tours: The Adventures Continue has variable wait times since the ride experience changes each time. Check the app for the current posted wait before committing.
- Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and Autopia are both solid options with generally shorter waits, good for filling gaps between your priority rides.
- Astro Orbitor, right at the land’s entrance, is a quick one if you’ve got a few extra minutes.
A Note on Matterhorn Bobsleds
