Cars Land has one headline attraction and it’s one of the two rides at the entire resort that sells out its Lightning Lane the fastest. If Radiator Springs Racers is on your list, this is a land where showing up with a plan actually matters.
Radiator Springs Racers Comes First
Radiator Springs Racers runs on Lightning Lane Single Pass, not Multi Pass, typically priced $18 to $25 per person and subject to a 40 inch height requirement. It sells out quickly on busy days, so decide before you arrive whether you’re doing standby or Single Pass, and if it’s Single Pass, buy it as early as you can.
If you’re heading here straight off rope drop, this should be your very first stop. The standby line grows fast once the general morning crowd arrives, usually within the first 30 to 45 minutes of park opening.
The Rest of Cars Land
Once Radiator Springs Racers is handled, work through the land’s other attractions:
- Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree (32 inch requirement) has a Single Rider line, a good option if your group is willing to split up for a shorter wait.
- Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters (32 inch requirement) also offers Single Rider.
Both tend to have manageable waits in the first couple hours, so they’re a good use of time after you’ve locked in Radiator Springs Racers.
Getting There Fast
If you’re coming from the Buena Vista Street entrance, Carthay Circle is your hub. From there, head down the Performance Corridor branch (past the first Avengers Campus entrance) straight into Cars Land, rather than looping through Hollywood Land first. There’s also a shortcut through Pacific Wharf that cuts real time off the walk if you’re coming from that side of the park.

If Radiator Springs Racers isn’t your very first stop, or if you want to line up a return time for later, check the app the moment you scan in. Since it runs on Single Pass rather than Multi Pass, it won’t show up on your Multi Pass Tip Board, but it’s worth checking availability early regardless, since it only gets more limited as the day goes on.
